Stranger Things: when does part 2 of season 4 premiere?

The first part of the 4th season of Stranger Things  arrived on Netflix this Friday (27) and promises more macabre adventures for the group of friends in Hawkins.

The new episodes take place six months after the Battle of Starcourt seen in season three. Separated for the first time since they met, the group of friends goes through a turbulent period in school and in life.

As usual, things get even worse when a new supernatural threat from the Upside Down brings yet another mystery — and problem — to be solved.

The seventh episode left some questions to be answered in the second part. But after all, when does part 2 of the 4th season of Stranger Things premiere ?

Much to the relief of the most eager fans, it won’t take long to find out how the season should end. Stranger Things season four part two is set to premiere July 1 on Netflix. It’s worth noting that the second half will feature just two episodes, with episode 9 lasting over two hours.

About the end of the season, the creators of the series,  Matt and Ross Duffer, explained that the intention was really to develop a cinematic plot. “Seven and nine in particular are movies, and nine is a long movie,” they said in an interview with The Wrap .

Actor Finn Wolfhard, who plays Mike Wheeler, added: “There are five movies in one: we have the action comedy with the pothead, we have the Russian prison movie, we have the Scooby-Doo story that mixes with the Zodiac Killer… And everything works!”, he said.
